Society of Wetland Scientists Call for Abstracts
What
Scientists and graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for oral (20 minute presentations) or poster presentations of original wetland research (presentations of research focused on the Lake Superior Basin are particularly encouraged).
Where
The meeting will be held on the campus of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Minnesota.
Posters
Posters can be erected after 8 AM on Thursday, July 14 and must be removed by 1 PM Friday, July 15. Authors should be at their posters for the Thursday afternoon poster session (4 - 5 PM).
Student Award
North Central Chapter of the Society of Wetlands Scientists will present a $75 cash award for the best student paper/poster presented at the meeting. This cash award carries with it a one year student membership to SWS.

Deadline for submission
Authors will be notified of receipt and acceptance of abstracts by email. Abstract submission guidelines can be found here: (PDF).
Registration
$50 for Students making presentations (poster or oral) and $70 for all others. Registration includes meeting and field trip participation, several meals, and a dinner cruise on Lake Superior aboard the Vista Star.
