A View From the Lake Sees Green: Forests, Trees, and Water Quality in Lake Superior

$20 Get ready for the 2008 View From the Lake trips aboard the L.L. Smith, Jr. Research Vessel. This year's program will focus on the importance of forests and trees in protecting water quality and habitat in Lake Superior and its many rivers and streams. Each 3-hour program will feature information on forest ecology, the value and benefits that trees and forests provide, and how to promote the retention, regrowth, and maintenance of trees within your community and your own back yard. This program is co-hosted by University of Wisconsin Extension and Minnesota Sea Grant.
