The new Water Line user survey results are out for 1996! A survey was sent out to all the people who called the Water Line in 1996 and gave us their address. The results are on the back of the newsletter. For the second time, we have received positive reviews of the service we provide. People generally feel very appreciative that there is one source of information that they can call to link up with water resources professionals throughout the state. A full 49% said that they believe the Water Line helped them save money, with 71% saying that the Water Line helped them save time! The user statistics from 1996 have been tabulated and are shown below.

  • Aesthetic Contamination refers to drinking water problems such as iron and sulfur bacteria, high levels of manganese, or other drinking water odor or nuisance problems that do not pose a health risk.
Water Line User Survey Results From January 1997
  • 81% said that their phone calls were responded to very quickly.
  • 80% said that the information provided to them was very clear.
  • 70% indicated that the information given to them helped them solve a problem or make a decision.
  • 90% said that they would call the Water Line again.
  • 80% would recommend the Water Line to others who have water related questions.
  • 92% said that their call was treated respectfully and professionally.
  • 71% said that they believe that the Water Line helped them save time.
  • 49% said that they believe that the Water Line helped them save money.
  • 78% said that they consider the Water Line a valuable resource for residents of their county.
51 surveys were received back from 110 sent out.
