Did Ja Know?

New Zealand mudsnails are “very fast” for snails, reaching cruising speeds of over one meter per hour. Also, because they reproduce by cloning themselves, male snails are somewhat of a rarity. The role and origins of the males is not known and normal sexual reproduction seems unlikely.
