From the squeaking of sea lampreys to the throb of a research vessel engine, the Listening to the Lake radio show series brings the lake within earshot no matter where you are. The shows, which aired on KUMD this summer, offer over an hour of science-based information about Lake Superior environmental issues. Each program features a weather synopsis followed by interviews with topic experts.
