Great Lakes Invasive Species Posters

Designed for young audiences, this new poster set presents key facts about some of the most harmful aquatic invasive species in the Great Lakes. Colorful illustrations, photos and lively text help kids understand why each species is a problem and what can be done.

The species featured are: round goby, Eurasian ruffe, spiny and fish-hook waterfleas, sea lamprey, purple loosestrife, Eurasian watermilfoil, and zebra mussels. Seven small posters describe individual species. An eighth larger poster combines the illustrations from the other posters with general information about aquatic invasive species.

(1) Large group poster – 24-1/2 inches by 31-1/2 inches

(7) Small posters – 12-1/4 inches by 18-3/4 inches

Price: $12 (set of 8)

The posters are sold as a set and were produced by Michigan Sea Grant. To order, visit our publications order form.
