From Shore to Shore Newsletter Available
April 2005
by Sea Grant Staff

If you’re a Minnesotan who wants to learn more about managing shoreland, consider subscribing to the University’s From Shore to Shore newsletter.
The newsletter is designed to help citizens improve water quality and the aesthetics of the state’s lakes and rivers. It offers the latest information about shoreland management-related workshops, including plant identification, revegetation, and volunteer programs.
The free newsletter is published about 10 times per year through the Shoreland Education Program, which is conducted through the University of Minnesota’s Extension Service in cooperation with the University’s Water Resources Center and Minnesota Sea Grant.
From Shore to Shore can be found on the Web at www.shorelandmanagement.org/citizen/ or you can be added to the mailing list by contacting Teri Anderson at the Extension Regional Center in Brainerd, 1-888-241-0720, or ande7530@umn.edu.
