Rivers: Ribbons of Life is a 22-minute video that illustrates the importance of land management practices along rivers. It also explains the significance of broader land-use decisions within a river’s basin. Understanding these principles can help ensure our continuing enjoyment of rivers. The video was developed by six state, county, and university organizations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, including Minnesota Sea Grant. It was professionally produced by Parthé Productions of Duluth. Copies are available for purchase from the University of Minnesota Extension Distribution Center, 800-876-8636. Ask for item number VH-7542. Cost for MN and WI residents is $6 plus $8.50 for shipping and handling.
