...Is probably contained in the studies listed in our Research Bibliography on Eurasian Ruffe (Gymnocephalus cernuus) (L.). Our staff compiled 889 research citations from journals, technical reports, and literature from over 21 countries about this exotic fish. It’s true that others have conducted ruffe literature reviews; however, significant foreign literature was discovered when Minnesota Sea Grant co-hosted a 1997 International Symposium on Eurasian Ruffe Biology, Impacts and Control. This bibliography compiles this information with previous works and recent literature searches.

Funding for this project was provided by a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to the National Sea Grant College Program through an appropriation by Congress based on the National Invasive Species Act of 1996.
