Staff Update

Debbie Kaminov, information specialist, has been promoted to information technology professional. Kaminov is responsible for coordinating product development; supervising publications distribution; managing computer databases, programs, and equipment; coordinating Web site maintenance; and providing outreach and administrative support.

Scott Robertson, student web designer, has been hired full time and promoted to graphic designer. Robertson is responsible for helping design and maintain Minnesota Sea Grant’s Web site, helping design publications, and providing computer technology support for Sea Grant’s outreach program.

Jennifer Christensen and Andrea Grygo are interning with us. Jennifer is a student at the College of St. Scholastica. She is compiling a bibliography on Eurasian ruffe that will be included in the aquatic nuisance species information clearinghouse coordinated by New York Sea Grant. She is also aiding an environmental risk assessment project on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation.

Andrea is a student at the University of Wisconsin Superior. She is helping with a project designed to assess the risks of exotic species spreading via bait by analyzing data and delivering angler surveys.
