500 Images of the Great Lakes on a Compact Disk

At last — 500 high-quality electronic images of the Great Lakes you can purchase for $12 to use for your publications, multimedia computer presentations, or to “pretty up” your Web site.
To produce this compact disk, Minnesota Sea Grant and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency pain stakingly gathered the best images from over 30 agencies around the Great Lakes.
The images (in JPEG format) can be copied for any purpose as long as they are properly credited to the individual photographer or agency.
Categories include:
- scenery
- plants and animals
- parks and attractions
- recreation
- research and education
- management
- commerce and development
- environmental issues like exotic species and pollution
A catalog (in Acrobat format) includes photo credit information and thumbnail sketches of the images for quick browsing. Different versions of the catalog are included for DOS, UNIX, Macintosh, or Windows operating systems.
