Join the Duluth Urban Watershed Advisory Committee for three presentations and discussion on beavers.

The “Role of Beaver in Riverine Management” will be presented by Marty Rye, U.S. Forest Service, forest hydrologist.

“Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Beaver Management” will be presented by Deserae Hendrickson, MNDNR, fisheries supervisor, and Martha Minchak, MNDNR, wildlife manager.

“Beaver, Trout and the Knife River Watershed: will be presented by Emma Burgeson, University of Minnesota Duluth, Water Resources Science graduate student; Hannah Behar, UMD WRS graduate student; and Karen Gran, UMD Swenson College of Science and Engineering, fluvial geomorphologist and associate professor.
