Shipboard Science Workshop

This July, experience a once-in-a-lifetime professional development opportunity as you travel across Lake Huron. Join the Center for Great Lakes Literacy and Great Lakes scientists on a research expedition. The weeklong workshop which focuses on Great Lakes science, human impacts, and classroom applications is limited to 15 educators.

The Center for Great Lakes Literacy, the Great Lakes Sea Grant Network and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency invite fourth to twelfth grade teachers and nonformal educators who are willing to incorporate Great Lakes science into their teaching and work at educational institutions that have Great Lakes exhibits or conduct Great Lakes programming to apply for the 2017 Shipboard Science Workshop.
