Public-friendly presentation and discussion about aquatic invasive species.

Board the R/V Blue Heron and indulge in science! On May 27, July 22, August 26 and September 23, UMD's Large Lakes Observatory welcomes the public to tour their research vessel and participate in a science-based presentation.

On May 27, Doug Jensen, Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator with the University of Minnesota Sea Grant Program will present "Silent Invasion of the Great Lakes: How fish have been introduced into Lake Superior."

Tours start at noon and presentations begin at 3:15 pm. Tours and presentations are free and open to the public. NOTE: Tours are full on May 27 from noon-2:30 pm.
