4th Annual St. Louis River Estuary Summit

This event provides a venue for sharing research and information on the St. Louis River Freshwater Estuary, a major tributary to Lake Superior. The St. Louis River Estuary Summit is open to everyone, especially the community, students, scientists, natural resource managers and educators. Minnesota Sea Grant's Hilarie Sorensen will be leading a session titled Social Science 101, which will provide an overview of how social science links to natural science work on the St. Louis River. Dr. John Pastor of the University of Minnesota Duluth will present information on sulfate, sulfide, and wild rice growth, the focus of his Minnesota Sea Grant research for 2014-2016,
