Recipe Contest is Hooked on Fish

Submit your fish recipe to win $100! Minnesota Sea Grant and Northland's NewsCenter invites the public to submit their best fish recipes for the Hooked on Fish Recipe Contest. The deadline for entries is midnight, October 31, 2013. One entrant will be awarded a $100 Visa Gift Card and the opportunity to share their recipe on KBJR 6 and Range 11's Today Show with Adam Lorch and Jennifer Austin.

Celebrating sustainably managed fisheries in Minnesota, the Hooked on Fish Recipe Contest encourages people to purchase and cook with sustainably managed and harvested fish. Contest submissions should include fish or shellfish as the recipe's primary ingredient, with extra consideration going to recipes using ingredients harvested or caught within the Great Lakes region. Judging is based on the use of appropriate ingredients and originality. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced on November 11. Think local ... sustainable ... original.
