The Sea Grant Files: New Audio Broadcasts Start on Wednesday

Minnesota Sea Grant program leader Jesse Schomberg will be hosting the second season of The Sea Grant Files. The program will again be produced and broadcast by the University of Minnesota Duluth's radio station
KUMD (103.3 FM).

The Sea Grant Files will air on Northland Morning each Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. The series will be available through iTunes. You can also subscribe to The Sea Grant Files podcast or access audio files of aired shows on the Minnesota Sea Grant Web site at: www.seagrant.umn.edu/radio/sgf.

The Sea Grant Files are sponsored by the Minnesota Sea Grant Program, which is devoted to sharing science-based information about aquatic systems and coastal communities with the public.

The first show hosted by Schomberg will concern aquatic invasive species, and will air on January 19. Tune in to KUMD to hear "fresh news about fresh water." Over the 20-episode series, Schomberg will interview experts about retaining storm waters, fisheries, and other themes relevant to the Minnesota Sea Grant program and Minnesota's aquatic resources.
