In keeping with our Minnesota Sea Grant mission of facilitating interaction among the public and scientists, we invite you to attend the next meeting of Twin Ports Freshwater Folk on Wednesday, December 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the EPA Mid-Continent Ecology Division lobby conference room at 6201 Congdon Boulevard in Duluth.

The Twin Ports Freshwater Folk is an informal gathering of people from the Twin Ports who are engaged in freshwater research, policy, or regulation issues, for networking and informal discussion. Come and meet the scientists, researchers, and educators to find out what they are working on now, and how it might impact the communities, the environment and the economies along Lake Superior's shores. Meetings take place the first Wednesday of every month. Sub sandwiches and fresh water are provided.

Meetings are sponsored by the UMD's Center for Freshwater Research and Policy, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the U.S. EPA Mid-Continent Ecology Division.
