The Minnesota Sea Grant Foundation
Help ensure that the latest science about Lake Superior and Minnesota's aquatic resources is heard. Your tax-deductible donation will support our mission to:
Facilitate interaction among the public and scientists to enhance the environment and communities along Lake Superior and Minnesota's inland waters by identifying information needs, fostering research, and communicating results.
We receive financial support from both the University of Minnesota and the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency. Federal and state support for Sea Grant has lagged behind the demand for our services. Your contribution assures that aquatic and Great Lakes science will remain vibrant in Minnesota.
Donors can designate how funds are used. For example, you may wish to support students through scholarships or help supplement research activities. If you have favorite projects, you can donate to a specific program we conduct, such as Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers.
